The YONEYAMA KAGAKU KOGYO KAISHA, LTD. website (‘the Site’) gathers information enabling personal identification, such as the names, addresses and telephone numbers of individuals. YONEYAMA KAGAKU KOGYO KAISHA, LTD. (‘the Company’) handles personal information collected by the Site as specified below. The information below may be changed without prior notice for the purpose of making ongoing improvements to the Company’s personal information protection activities. 

  1. Objectives for Gathering Personal Information
    In addition to objectives such as responding to inquiries and sending materials, the Company gathers personal information such as name, place of work and email address for providing information from the Company about services, for use in in-house survey or research materials, and the like.

    The personal information gathered by the Company is provided by request when needed by the Company to respond to inquiries, requests for materials, or the like. It is used as statistical data that does not enable personal identification, only insofar as needed to improve the Company’s operations. The required measures will be implemented to ensure that personal information is managed in a well-regimented manner by outsourced companies. However, personal information may be provided in the following cases:

    If a demand is made for the disclosure, correction or deletion of personal information in the Company’s possession, the Company will take appropriate action within reason as soon as it has verified that the demand has come from the owner of the personal information.

    To identify the user’s computer, the Site may send data called cookies to be recorded on the user’s hard disk. The Company is permitted to use cookies to acquire information about the user’s computer, Site browsing statuses, and other information. The Company uses cookies for statistical analysis related to improving convenience and Site use for all users. All users are permitted to turn off the cookies setting in their browser settings. Note in advance that the use of some of the Site’s services may no longer be possible to in this case.

The access log contains information such as the domain name, IP address, operating system type, browser type and access date/time. Even though the access log does not necessarily contain information enabling personal identification, the Company handles it as information meeting the definition of personal information. The access log is used for statistical analysis of Site use and for Site maintenance/management; it is never used for any other purpose. 
  8. Handling of Personal Information on Linked Sites 
    Companies or other organizations that operate other websites linked from the Site have privacy policies independent of the Company. The Company bears no obligation or liability for the activities of companies or organizations besides the Company. 
  9. Inquiries About Personal Information Handling 
    Inquiries about personal information handling (including disclosure, changes, additions, deletions and usage termination) should be sent to the Company using the inquiry form provided.
